Terms of Use

SimpliFlight & SimpliFlight Fleet · Last updated June 19, 2026

Acceptance

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the SimpliFlight iOS app and the SimpliFlight Fleet web platform (together, the "Service"), provided by Iron Foundry LLC. By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

License

Iron Foundry LLC grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the SimpliFlight app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, and to access SimpliFlight Fleet through a valid account. This is a license, not a sale, and no title or ownership is transferred to you. You may not:

Your records are yours

You retain ownership of the flight, aircraft, maintenance, cost, credential, and organizational records you enter. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of that data. While SimpliFlight is designed to help you keep records for purposes such as FAA logbook and currency requirements, it is your responsibility to verify all entries and to retain records as required by applicable regulations. We do not guarantee that any output satisfies a particular regulatory, tax, or legal requirement.

Subscriptions and billing

SimpliFlight Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. SimpliFlight Fleet subscriptions are billed by Iron Foundry LLC through our payment processor on the terms presented at sign-up. The free tier never blocks viewing, editing, or exporting data you have already recorded.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Iron Foundry LLC makes no warranties, express or implied, and disclaims all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service or any data it produces is accurate, complete, current, or error-free.

Not for safety-critical decisions

SimpliFlight is a record-keeping and planning aid, not a source of official aeronautical, weather, or regulatory information, and not a substitute for an official navigation or certification source. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for any flight, maintenance, currency, medical, or compliance decision. Always confirm safety-critical information against authoritative sources. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Iron Foundry LLC and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Changes

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version at this address with a new "last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which Iron Foundry LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
